They are rechargeable, not spillable and non-hazardous although they do require a steady and regular charging routine to ensure they are in good working order. This includes a full charge after each use and disconnection of the scooter for six weeks and regular top-up charges. This will stop charging too much, that could cause damage.

The ZT-7 adds an LCD touchscreen display that is easy to navigate and also allows you to see status at an instant. The new display replaces the old backlit screen and buttons of the ZT-400 series. The new display comes with the same high resolution options, widths and RFID options, but has a more user-friendly and easy-to-use interface. The new ZT-7 also manages air temps by using digital controls that are easy to use and provides production quality thermal profiles similar to those of conveyor ovens, IR/Vapor and wave soldering machines.
The quiet operation and the large LED digital display means the ZT-7 can be employed in the most demanding of environments without causing disturbance to the operator or workers around them.
